Near Containment Gamma Monitoring System

Amplifier, detector, and cables combine to provide a wide range flat sensitivity system for measuring gamma flux in the near containment application. The system can be used to monitor the decay of radio nuclides released from fuel damage.

Tag Features

  • 1 Gy/h to 2x106 Gy/h (6 1/2 decade range) of gamma detection
  • Flat response from 81 keV to 2 MeV gamma energy
  • Numeric LCD display
  • Fully analog - software free design
  • Nuclear safety qualified per IEEE-323, 1985
  • MTBF > 100,000 hours
