This program is designed to support the future of radiation measurements benefitting both Mirion and the customers we serve. Its aims are two-fold: supporting students entering the fields of radiation measurement today, while also facilitating the transfer of knowledge from experienced experts to the next generation

A Program for Educators and Students That Builds Expertise in Radiation Analysis

This initiative was created to provide educators and students with access to industry-standard software, helping to build a strong foundation in radiation analysis. The program also offers students invaluable real-world experience, enhancing educational quality and preparing students for successful careers following graduation.

To make spectroscopy more accessible to educators, Mirion will provide the Genie Spectroscopy Software and ISOCS™ Sourceless Efficiency Calibration Software for a one-year period at no cost to qualifying institutions.

The latest version of Genie software builds upon nearly 40 years of experience supporting the comprehensive spectroscopy needs of customers in 90+ countries worldwide.

Platform benefits include:

• Interactive reports – Quickly access comprehensive measurement, geometry, and analysis information. Genie users can directly review peak quality and fitting from nuclide results in the report. Additionally, users can effortlessly interact with measurement data via sortable columns, toggling features, and collapsible sections.
• Improved uncertainty calculations for correlations in calibration standards – Relevant for high precision measurement when a multi-line calibration source is used, Genie 4.0 software provides a new treatment for uncertainty propagation. Users now can identify correlations from their calibration standard, leading to more rigorously accurate results.
• Integrated Python^® scripting enables flexible automation – Genie users can Incorporate Python scripting directly into their analysis sequence file to improve automation of tasks, perform custom calculations, or seamlessly transfer data or results to another application.
• Support for N42 files and more
