The Clinical Application Physicist provides clinical support and product training to customers in hospitals and cancer centers throughout the EMEA region.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions
- Resolves customer concerns raised during operation, maintenance, product application or compatibility matters
- Performs daily customer-centric activities demonstrating expert technical product knowledge with interpersonal skills
- Provides high performance customer support during on-site installation, training, PMI’s as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting of systems
- Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
- Collaborate with clinical physicists to provide customized high-level technical training when required
- Identify customer needs and determines internal resources needed for resolution
- Position requires a wide range of skills including mechanical, electrical, networking, software, and/or physics process areas.
- Provide product feedback and work with global peers to align on best practice and processes
- Attend conferences and trade shows as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested occasionally
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- BSc. or MSc. in Medical Physics, Dosimetry, or related discipline
- Clinical experience in Radiation Therapy is an advantage.
- Technical training/education/support experience in a professional or academic environment is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills (ability to effectively talk to a group via phone/remote meetings/face-to-face)
- German and English language skills are required
- Strong technical aptitude, experience of web-based applications, comfortable with learning technologies and industry standards
- Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented, and possess strong time management skills.
- Able to manage many work streams simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
Qualification:
Education:
- Required: Bachelors in Medical Physics or related field.
- Preferred: Masters in Medical Physics or related field.
Experience
- Required: 1 to 5+ years of experience in related field
