Building Expertise in Radiation Analysis
To make spectroscopy more accessible to educators, Mirion will provide the Genie Spectroscopy Software and ISOCS™ Sourceless Efficiency Calibration Software free-of-charge annually to qualifying institutions.
This initiative not only supports educators and students in learning about radiation measurements and utilizing industry-standard software, but also equips students with real-world experience that is invaluable after graduation, enhancing both educational quality and career readiness.

- Supports acquisition and analysis of gamma spectroscopy systems
- Combine with Mirion Technologies’ supported multi-channel analyzers and your radiation detector of choice
1- Year ISOCS Mathematical Software Calibration Subscription Option
- Used on up to 20 computers
- Installed with Genie-Single option above
- Supports mathematical efficiency calibration modeling of radiation detectors with ISOCS detector characterization
- Generic detector characterizations available for demonstration purposes to see the impact of sample geometry on a measurement system

Pre-defined Spectrum for In-depth Analyses
The Genie software is ideal for analyzing a range of real and simulated spectrum for nuclide identification, activity quantification, and other real-world applications. Use pre-defined spectral files to explore analysis capabilities and develop expert review capabilities. Pre-defined spectral files can be provided upon request.
Who is eligible?
This program is available to:
- Educators (employees or contractors) of an accredited university performing educational or training activities in one of the following countries - Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
- Students (person enrolled full time or part time in the educational institution) under the supervision of the relevant Participant educator(s). Both students and participant educators must be over 18 years of age. Participant will, if requested, provide written confirmation of the age and status for such persons.
Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant course curriculum for current or upcoming year.
- (Optional) Provide product feedback for marketing and/or product improvement purposes.
