A Fusion of Innovation and Insight: Mirion Connect 2024 Recap
The Mirion Connect users’ conference is a landmark event for professionals in the radiation safety and science sectors. For the past 38 years, the conference has aimed to showcase the latest advancements in radiation detection and measurement technologies, provide education and networking opportunities, and foster discussion on current nuclear applications. This year, the conference took place in Dallas, Texas, drawing experts, industry leaders and technology users from around the globe.
The 242 attendees represented more than 110 companies, 11 countries, and a variety of industries, from nuclear power and defense/security to laboratories and radiopharmaceuticals. We were excited to welcome several Mirion Connect veterans who have attended for 10+ years, as well as first-time attendees, who represented more than half of total attendance this year.
First-time attendees were treated to a special breakfast on Wednesday where they sat with our seasoned personnel to learn more about the event and ask our experts any questions.
A welcome reception marked the official start of the conference with cocktails, entertainment and networking.
